I hope you have a great summer: Scenes from Yearbook’s magazine launch

Growing up, Enrique Espinoza didn’t typically get his hands on a class yearbook.

Instead, he’d get a notebook, have his friends sign it, and slot in their photos, creating his own personal time capsule of high school life.

Over time, Espinoza accumulated a lot more friends, including a devoted group of artists across the country whose vision shines through in his latest version of that notebook.

Yearbook Vol. 1 dropped Saturday night. Thirty different artists are featured in the book. Their work was displayed to the community in the makeshift exhibit space at Tribal’s Lower Left store in East Village.

The work seizes the moment, freezing creativity and culture in its time and place. One day, we’ll be able to pull the book out and remember what 2025 looked and felt like, as well as the friends we made along the way.

Real people. Real stories. Real results.
