The Challenge

bica café is the rare neighborhood spot that punches far above its size — exceptional food, a devoted community of regulars, and a reputation that pulls chefs and service-industry pros from across San Diego to a corner of Adams Avenue. bica needed a presence that matched the quality coming out of its kitchen: a website worthy of the food, photography and video that captured the room the way it actually feels, and a steady stream of storytelling to carry its name beyond the neighborhood.

The challenge was never inventing a story — bica already had one. It was capturing it. The café needed a creative partner who could live inside the day-to-day, document the people, the dishes, and the small moments that make the place what it is, and turn all of it into a brand that travels.
