When Intesa Communications Group invited us into their world, it felt like meeting an old friend. With founders Margie Newman and Maddy Kilkenny at the helm, Intesa has become a trusted voice in both government relations and communications for some of San Diego’s most influential organizations. We share a common goal: to tell stories that strengthen our city and connect communities.
Intesa has a deep well of relationships, trust and messaging expertise. We bring boots-on-the-ground visual storytelling. Together, that’s a powerful combination. Our teams work together seamlessly: Intesa sets the stage, and we translate complex issues into vivid, human-centered visuals that resonate.
One of our signature projects with Intesa is in collaboration with the Downtown San Diego Partnership. At their annual Create the Future Awards, the Partnership wanted to highlight the unsung heroes of their homelessness outreach team.
We spent time with outreach workers like Crystal Brown, who had once experienced homelessness herself, and with a former client who now has a home, a job and even a puppy. By embedding ourselves in their daily work, we captured stories of resilience, connection and the belief that downtown only thrives when it works for everyone.
From there, the partnership has only deepened. Intesa managed project flow and messaging, making it easier for us to do what we do best: capture authentic stories. Together, we’ve:
Filmed a brand video for Intesa itself, capturing their dual strength in communications and government relations.
Begun development of a new website for a regional higher education client, which is scheduled to launch later in 2025.
We’re proud to say this isn’t a one-off collaboration — it’s an ongoing partnership grounded in shared values, mutual respect and the work of bringing San Diego’s stories to life.
