La Jolla Country Day School wanted to mark its centennial with a film that captured the spirit of the institution — but rather than a chronological history, the school wanted the story told through a human lens.

• Produced “The Legacy of Louise Balmer” — an anniversary film centered on LJCDS’ founder, whose life embodies the school’s values
• Conducted interviews with school leadership, past and present
• Integrated archival material with present-day footage to bridge the school’s 100-year arc

The film became a centerpiece of LJCDS’s 100-year celebration, screening for alumni and stakeholders as a flagship piece of the school’s anniversary communications.
